DIAGNOSTIC TESTING
Veterinary laboratory services such as blood work and fecal analysis. Heartworm testing and regular tick disease exposure screening are critical to keeping our pets healthy. Routine surveillance of blood work annually is an important way to catch disease early. Our beloved dogs and cats life spans are a fraction of their humans. Having blood work done on an annual basis for pets over 5 years of age is the best way to evaluate their body functions. Over the years, those trends can be monitored. Our pets are considered geriatric when they reach the ripe age of 8 years of age. For those giant breed dogs it is even earlier. Blood work result trends better help guide nutritional recommendations or supplement considerations to support vital organs during the aging process. ABOUT
DR. G

The inspiration for starting Dr. G Mobile Pet Care was sparked during the COVID pandemic. The veterinary community saw a dramatic surge in new pet owners which quickly saturated availability to find medical care for these new family members. Visits to the veterinary clinic restricted face to face interactions with the doctor. You passed your pet off at the door and faithfully left your pet in the care of the medical staff. For pets with fears and phobias this created additional obstacles for the patient. Seeking health care for your furry family members became something of a challenge even before you stepped foot into the door. It became harder to provide the same pre-pandemic attention to each client/pet case with new safety protocols. Burn out and compassion fatigue became acceptable consequences.
I decided to give my community a choice. One that has veterinary care delivered to you, in the comfort of your home.
Providing routine general veterinary care without the trip to the vet. Let the vet come to you for routine testing, vaccinations, and non- urgent sick care. This service offers many of the medical needs pet owners require and the needed medication support . Helping with end of life choices , like in home euthanasia or second opinions. For established client/patients it offers an opportunity to benefit from virtual visits to support you on the go.
The idea is to support the pet owner by partnering with them to deliver the type of care they want for their pet.
This service is not suited for all pet personalities.
